The PICT- NI LabVIEW Academy, established in 2013, is a state of the art facility which aims at providing certified training under the guidance of NI expertise and PICT NI Certified Faculty to the Faculty from Engineering Colleges, Research Scholars, Engineering students on LabVIEW and hands-on exposure to industry standard tools.

The LabVIEW Academy program provides academic institutions with a classroom curriculum package that supports both credit noncredit courses. It gives student access to industry standard tools they can use in classes, labs and beyond. PICT has been honored with “LabVIEW Academy School qualification certificate”, during NIDAYS 2016 – Annual Graphical System Design Conference. We gained access to LabVIEW Core-1 and Core-2 curriculum result for industry classes and LabVIEW academy program. We use NI recommended syllabuses and complimentary hardware to develop the courses quickly. The lab is equipped with the state of the art facilities such as

  • Universal Software defined Radio Peripherals (NI USRP- 2922) with Tri-band 7 inch vertical Antenna.(Frequency Range: 400MHz-4.4 GHz)
  • NI My DAQ (2 channel Analog Input, One digital Input output 8 pin port, Audio Input Output Connectivity)
  • LabVIEW Professional Development System Software

  • The main objective of the laboratory is to conduct training programs and carry out academic and industrial research in the field of data acquisition, wireless communications, and embedded systems. UG, PG, PhD students are encouraged to take up projects, research in these areas. Faculty explores carrying out continuous research and attract industry project, consultancy projects and funded projects from various funding agencies.
